Put on some new bars on the Kawi last night. orange Protaper contour, ricky carmicheal bend. Replaces a ATV hi protaper bar.
Also took off the heated grips (one was broken anyways) and flipped the mirrors. Bike looks awesome and the bar doesnt have any chips or dings in it anymore.

it certianly helps brighten up the front.
I’m planing on wrapping the intake scoops whitew (maybe the tank too?) and yellow low beam, LED white high beam sooner or later.
gold/orange chain and black gears too.

it went well, right up until the point I ran out of grip, ideas and realestate at the same time.
Actually, it was a really windy day and iw as leaning hard right into the wind in turn 7/8...and then the wind just stopped and I sorta just fell off the bike LOL.
peg, clip on, front brake lever needed replacing. i went to vortex clip ons so now I can just go and buy like a 10foot 7/8th steel bar and chop it down to length I need :D
I set the fastest time of the day though. 2.12 around long track. endurance racer buddy was having a hard time keeping up with me on his CBR1000.
All in all, I call it a win. Parts are already at home, just focusing on the street bike for the time being.

yea, it is a little weird. But funny enough, I only saw a SINGLE green z1000 when I was looking for one. it was all either either black, a custom red one, or the maroon/grey, or this one. thats it.
